Five environmentalists detained in Moscow
MOSCOW, October 12 (Itar-Tass) - Five environmentalists have been arrested in Moscow for an attempt to stage an unauthorized rally outside the German embassy. The members of the ?Ekozashchita? ecological organization wants to protest against trade in nuclear waste. However, the police thwarted the illegal action and detained the activists. The law enforcers took the protesters to the Ramenki police station where administrative protocols were compiled, a Moscow internal department source told Itar-Tass. The environmentalists will most likely be punished with a fine worth 300-500 roubles. Itar Tass
