Meeting organised in Moscow in protest against petrol price rise
MOSCOW, October 14 (Itar-Tass) - An action of protest against petrol price increasing is held at Triumfalnaya Square in central Moscow. About 50 people, but not 100 as was planned, have gathered for the action, police told Itar-Tass. The action is organised by the movement of drivers Freedom of Choice. The protesters hold posters demanding petrol be sold at the price of 12 roubles, but not low-quality fuel at the price of 20. There are also about 15 flags. The goal of the action is to make the government review the petrol price policy. Reinforced police units ensure order at the meeting. The action is calm so far, no incidents have been reported, and nobody has been detained, police sources said. Itar Tass
