Moscow region to start building metro in 2007
MOSCOW, December 19 (Itar-Tass) -- The Moscow region will start building a metro in 2007, regional transport minister Pyotr Katsyv said on Tuesday. The construction of the first metro line will start from the Crocus-City area outside the Moscow circular road. ?The line will be extended to the Mitino residential area and may be used by residents of Krasnogorsk,? he said. It is also planned to build a light metro to Balashikha, and a line to Domodedovo, Katsyv said. Itar Tass
