Moscow computerizes migration control
MOSCOW, June 26 (Itar-Tass) -- Moscow has computerized migration control, a source at the city department of the Federal Migration Service told Itar-Tass on Tuesday. ?We are now able to collect and process information about migrants in Moscow very quickly,? he said. The databank will include information about the issued and lost domestic and external passports, as well as naturalization, invitations issued to foreigners, and residence permits. ?Our system will immediately signal administrative violations of foreigners. It also contains information about all companies, which issue passports and visas,? he said. ?The online information about foreign citizens will build up the efficiency of anti-terrorist precautions,? the source said.
